Akron Wild Lights Identity System
Brand Design
This is a partial identity systems I create for the Akron Zoo's Wild Light event that I made for my Graphic Design I class at Kent State University.
I created a logo, a series of posters, and an additional promotional item for a given hypothetical client. I chose the Akron Zoo and wanted to focus in on the animals. I decided to go with these animal silhouette because I felt like it would be a nice way to present the various animals found at the zoo while keeping them immediately recognizable. As well, I decided on the holiday lights as a secondary element to the system to signify the Wild Lights being a holiday event without it coming off as too Christmas-like, anyone from any religion should be able to relate and understand the identity.
